Assetto Corsa career mode. The T2 series begins with the Ferrari 458 Trofeo and the first race at Monza.
This 6 lap race turned out to be a bit messy and the AI were aggressive from the get go. The first corner mayhem was only to be expected and I was lucky to survive being turned sideways - I suppose a restart wouldn't have been unreasonable but I wanted to try and complete each race first time out so I carried on despite multiple contacts on the first lap and several throughout the race.
I should have finished higher than I did as I was perfectly capable of running at the pace of the leader but unfortunately I spent too long fighting my way up the field and allowed the leader to get too far ahead.
However a podium and a few points is better than nothing so I decided to leave my rather battered Ferrari 458 Italia to fight another day. With five more races in the championship there should be some good battles ahead.
